Make-A-Wish Foundation Informational Session
Wish Granters Needed!
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central New York is currently recruiting new volunteers in the Jefferson, St. Lawrence & Lewis County areas.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Syracuse-based Central New York chapter serves 15 counties.
Volunteers are vital to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, playing a variety of roles – from assisting with fund raising and special events to marketing and public speaking. At this time, we are especially interested in NEW volunteers to assist us with Wish-Granting!
Volunteer Wish Granters actually meet with eligible children to help determine and then grant their wishes.
Potential Wish Granters attend a 7-hour training session prior to granting a wish, and submit to a current background check.
Want to learn more about volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation? Please join us for a General Orientation Session April 24th | 5:30 – 7:00PM | Flower Memorial Library in Watertown.
