William H. Davis, 76, Watertown
William H. Davis, 76, a resident of Mercy Center of Northern New York, died Tuesday morning at the Samaritan Medical Center.
Born Feb. 13, 1932, in Watertown, son of Erwin and Flossie Davis, he attended Watertown High School.
He married Shirley England of Watertown. The couple lived in Evans Mills. She died in 1983.
Mr. Davis recently lived in Carthage before moving to Mercy Center.
For several years Mr. Davis worked at the former Groff Roofing, Watertown.
Surviving are two sons, Robert and Thomas Davis, both of Watertown; two daughters, Patricia Havens, Black River, and Tina Dack, Watertown; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A son, Virgil, died before him.
Mr. Davis will be cremated and there will be no services. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Adams at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.
