Carl T. Chase, 54, Potsdam
Funeral Services for 54 year old Carl T. Chase, of 6941 State Highway 56, Potsdam, will be held Monday at 10 am at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood, with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor at St. Andrews Church in Norwood presiding.
Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Calling Hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Mr. Chase passed away Thursday morning at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT.
Survivors? Wife- Lyla, Potsdam; Brother- Ronald Earle, Potsdam; Brother and Sister-in-Laws? Ronnie and Mary Miner, Massena; Peter and Helen Fregoe, Norwood; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Sharon Chase at the age of 3 and a ½ sister June Hamilton.
Born in Massena on May 6, 1953 to Arthur and Blanche Blair, he married Lyla Ruff on July 1, 1978.
He worked at Potsdam State for 13 ½ years as a Cleaner.
He was a member and the Crusin? Director for the Massena Olde Car Club, a member of the Olde Car Club of Malone, and enjoyed his olde cars and motorcycles.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed life. He loved his dearest cat “Paws” whom he had for 13 years.
