George Edward Talbot, 82, Dexter
George Edward Talbot, 82, of E. Grove St., passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, afternoon at the Samaritan Medical Center emergency room. He had been stricken at home.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Helen Hadley of Dexter United Methodist Church will officiating.
Born Jan. 1, 1925, in Watertown, son of George and Vera Tidd Talbot, he attended Dexter Elementary School.
He lived in Watertown, Long Island, Port Jefferson, Northport , back to Watertown in 1948 and then has resided in Dexter since then.
He worked briefly at Watertown Bowling Alley and J.R.C. for several years.
Surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Phillips, address unknown; and a half brother, Eugene Williams, Dexter; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Dexter Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.
Donations may be made to J.R.C., P.O. Box 41, Gaffney Dr., Watertown, or the Dexter Ambulance Squad.
