Video: Bookfest Encourages Families To Read Together

The sooner you start reading to your children, the more they will fall in love with books.

That was the message of Saturday’s “Ready, Set, Fun Bookfest” at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena.

The event is put on each year to encourage parents to read with their children, no matter how old they are.

Children’s book characters like Clifford the Big Red Dog and Curious George were on hand at the book fest.

Kids also received a free book and could exchange books they have already read for new ones.
