Lewis County Camp Catches Fire

A camp in the Town of Redfield in Lewis County caught fire early Sunday morning.

The fire happened at 1041 North Osceola Road and was called in by a neighbor just after 4 a.m.

The cottage was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

Firefighters report the structure was a total loss.

The owner, Frank Maggiore, is from Utica.

The cause of the fire is undetermined.
