Rooseveltown Man Arrested for Possession of Marijuana

24-year-old Robert McDonald was arrested on a felony count of criminal possession of marijana in the first degree.

McDonald was stopped for a window tint violation on State Route 37 in the Town of Theresaby State Trooper Poggi.

Poggi subsequently conducted a free air sniff utilizing K-9 Ram.

McDonald consented to a search of his vehicle, which revealed 23 pounds of high grade hydroponic marijuana in the trunk.

McDonald was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court and was ordered held on $2,500 bail then remanded to Jefferson County Jail.
