River Hospital Building New Home for Physicians

River Hospital in Alexandria Bay is building a new structure for physicians in about one day.

Yesterday, construction crews lowered the first piece of the hospital’s physician’s office onto its foundation.

Four more pieces will be added to the building which will include twelve exam rooms, two procedure rooms and doctor’s offices.

Hospical officials are calling the new building “doc in a box”.

It is a move the hospital felt was needed to help mee the growing needs of the river community.
