Ogdensburg Woman Dead After 3 Car Crash in Lisbon

An Ogdensburg woman is dead after a three car crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of State Highway 68 and Murphy Road in the Town of Lisbon.
The accident happened at 2:45 p.m.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department says 45 year old Susan Feldt was turning left onto Murphy Road when the car behind her rear ended her sending her car into oncoming traffic.
Feldt had to be freed from her vehicle. She was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 4:15 p.m.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death is scheduled for Monday.
The driver of the car traveling behind Feldt’s vehicle was 30 year old Dominic Infantine of Rensselaer Falls.
Infantine was treated and released from Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. His two children in the vehicle were not hurt in the accident.
Infantine was ticketed for following to close.
The driver of the car that struck Feldt’s vehicle was 51 year old Donald Hyde of Ogdensburg.
According to the sheriff’s department, all three vehicles were extensively damaged.
The investigation into the crash continues.
