Remains of Two Missing Fort Drum Soldiers Found and Identified

The search is over for two 10th Mountain Division soldiers who have been missing for more than a year.

The father of Army Sergeant Alex Jimenez of Lawrence, MA says the military told him yesterday the remains of his son have been identified in Iraq.

The stepfather of Private First Class Byron Fouty of Waterford, MI said that the remains of his son had also been found.

The Pentagon has not made an official announcement.

The two soldiers went missing after a May 12 ambush in Iraq.

The attack killed five other Fort Drum soldiers.
