Two Injured After Head On Crash In New Bremen

Two people were hospitalized Saturday night after a two car crash on the Erie Canal Road in the Town of New Bremen.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m.

State Police believe the driver of one of the vehicles was drunk and swerved into oncoming traffic while rounding a curve.

49 year old Keith Muncy of Lowville was charged with DWI and Failure to Keep Right.

Muncy was treated for chest injuries at Lewis County General Hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle had more serious injuries to her head, chest, and legs.

71 year old Clara Boliver had to be transferred from Lewis County General to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
