David J. Langlois, 61, Alexandria Bay
David J. Langlois, 61, of 46745 Old Goose Bay Rd., died Tuesday morning, July 22, at home where he was under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Born May 27, 1947, in Alexandria Bay, the son of John E. and Doris Deemer Langlois, he was educated in Alexandria Bay schools.
He was a marine mechanic for T-Z Marine at Stoney Point for many years.
Mr. Langlois was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 904 in Alexandria Bay. He was also a former volunteer fireman for the Middletown Fire Department
Marriages to Clover Ferguson and Cathy Rukowski both ended in divorce.
Surviving are his father, John E., with whom he resided; a brother, V. (Varmint) Langlois; a sister, Annette Nelson, both of Alexandria Bay; two daughters and one son.
His mother died Feb. 27, 2008.
A memorial gathering will take place 1p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the family’s camp on Marsh Island, town of Alexandria. This gathering will be held in memory of David and his niece, Jennifer Claire Langlois, who passed away July 13, 2008.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
