Joyce K. Graham, 79, Philidelphia

Joyce K. Graham, 79, of Ore Bed Road, died Monday, July 21, at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown where she had been a resident since June 16.

Born July 31, 1928, in Three Mile Bay, the daughter of the late Ned and Rena Cook Klock, she attended Lyme Central School.

She married George J. Graham on May 17, 1945, in Glen Park.

Mrs. Graham worked at the Olga Knitting Mill, Watertown, Indian River Diner, Theresa, Pine Tree Point, Alexandria Bay, and did childcare for six years, during which time she worked on the family farm for nearly 20 years.

She enjoyed sewing, including baby blankets, pillows and quilts and was a member of the Evangelical Church of Orleans Four Corners Ladies Aid.

Surviving are her husband; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Wesley and Barb, and Robert, all of Philadelphia, Ed and Bev, Theresa, and Arnold and Gloria, Dekalb Junction; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Hazel Graham, Watertown, Joan and Terry Shelley, LaFargeville, Cathy Marcellus, Philadelphia, and Lori and Bob Frisinia, Hammond; two sisters, Fredia Payne and Rosemary Gillett, both of LaFargeville; a brother, Jim Klock, Three Mile Bay; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Lloyd, Fred and Arle “Tubby”, died before her.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 25, at the Evangelical Church of Orleans Four Corners with Pastor Norma Gee, deacon, officiating. Burial will be on the family farm in Philadelphia at a later date.
