A Watertown man is taking on a very big job; in fact, it’s literally the biggest job he has ever had.
Jason Brown is an artist who is painting a mural on the side wall of Empsall Plaza in downtown Watertown.
The mural will be visible from Public Square.
Brown got to work making his permanent mark on the city Thursday.
“It’s a dream come true - a little town and trying to bring some culture in with the art scene and most of all beautify this place,” said Brown.
He said the mural will be a tribute to soldiers.
Brown says his design is also influenced by a photo he snapped of the St. Lawrence River.
The artist says it could take a couple of weeks to get the whole wall covered.
