Woman Arrested, Accused Of Trying To Steal Computers

State police have arrested a 31 year old Ogdensburg woman for allegedly trying to steal computers from Wal-Mart in the town of Watertown.
Christina M. Chevrier of 123 Belmont Courts was charged with a felony count of attempted grand larceny.
Police said she attempted to steal four laptop personal computers and two Dell laptop computers from Wal-Mart on August 21.
The value of the computers was approximately $4952.19, police said.
Chevrier was arraigned in Brownville Town Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $1000 bail pending grand jury action.
Police said further arrests are pending.
