Teen Hurt In ATV Accident

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department investigated an all-terrain vehicle accident that sent an Iowa teenager to the hospital Friday.

It happened on private property off Effley Falls Road in the town of Croghan.

Deputies said 14 year old Jevan Stutzman of Kalonia, Iowa, was operating an ATV and struck a rock.

He was thrown from the vehicle.

The ATV flipped over onto his leg.

Stutzman was taken to Lewis County General Hospital for treatment of a possible fractured leg.
