Former Music Teacher Sentenced

A former Morristown Central School music teacher has been sentenced to 120 days in the county jail for having inappropriate conduct with a teenage student.
Daniel Frick, 38, of Potsdam pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges in connection with a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female student between July and October 2007.
Investigators say the incidents occurred inside the school.
Frick was also placed on three years probation and ordered to pay $210 in court fees.
A three year order of protection barring Frick from having any contact with the teenager was also issued.
Frick had been a music teacher and marching band leader at Morristown for nearly two years.
he will begin serving his jail sentence Friday night at 10 p.m.
His entire sentence will be served on weekends.
