People on Wellesley Island were given a look last night at the design for the new Alexandria Bay Port of Entry.
A model and pictures of the proposed plan were on display and designers say the project is necessary to help traffic move more quickly through the area and shorten delays.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2010, but the project manager says he doesn’t expect that to cause any extra delays.
Completion is estimated for the spring of 2014.
