Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said one person was killed Friday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on Pillar Point.

The crash happened on a curve on Baldwin Road shortly before 4 p.m.

Officials said a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 38 year old Timothy Thomson of Dexter left the road and overturned.

Thomson, who was not wearing a helmet, died from his injuries at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, officials said.
