Town of Hounsfield Man Arrested for Criminal Possession of Marijuana

The Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team concluded a one-month narcotics investigation into the unlawful growing and possession of marijuana with the arrest of Robert C. Bell, 52, of 17467 Evans Road in the Town of Hounsfield.

Mr. Bell was arrested for growing marijuana following the aerial locating of 45 marijuana plants on his property.

At the time, Bell was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hounsfield Court.

He was again arrested on October 9 for the possession of more than 10 pounds of processed marijuana recovered at his residence following the execution of a search warrant on October 3.

He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the first degree, a class C felony.

Arraignment was at the Town of Hounsfield Court.
