Inside WWNY/FOX 28

WNYF Fox-28 coverage area.

In April 2001 WWNY expanded its services by putting WNYF Fox-28 on the air. This low-powered Fox affiliate is available off-air on channel 28 in Watertown and Massena and can be seen on Time Warner Cable channel 2 or in HDTV on cable channel 878. Its programming can also be seen as a secondary channel, 7-2, on WWNY’s digital channel.

In May 2003 WWNY started broadcasting a new digital signal on UHF frequency channel 35. WWNY-DT offers HD programming from CBS on its primary channel 7-1.
