Welcome to the most exciting new consumer event in Northern New York in a decade. This is an event celebrating quality “Made in New York” food & wine products including candy and cheeses, nuts, sauces, herbs & spices, maple syrup and other maple products, apple cider, cookies and ice cream and of course, NYS wines. Participating exhibitors will come from Long Island to Buffalo and the Finger Lakes to the upper reaches of the state along the Canadian border. Already, it is a full fledged NYS product showcase

37th Annual Can-AM festival, Sackets Harbor, NY
For six weekends this summer, the famous Renaissance Festival will run in Oswego County. The Elizabethan Escapades are in their 32nd year, and under new ownership. The new owners also own and operate two other properties-North Pole, New York: Home of Santa’s Workshop and the historic Sylvan Beach Amusement Park.

Fun at the Renaissance Festival
There were an estimated 10,000 people at the Renaissance Festival, yesterday Sunday July 27th, and I was one of them. It was a perfect day to visit, free of the wild weather that wracked havoc on Saturday.
